Mundivie is pleased to share with you the news of another bottling of Wild Fields Polish Whisky. Our company, together with world-renowned master blender, Mr John McDougall, has bottled Polish whisky aged in Sherry wine casks, bringing out new limited editions of Wild Fields Sherry Cask.
Ageing is a process that requires time and patience. It is one of the final stages of making alcohol - including Wild Fields whisky. Ageing involves keeping the drinks in casks in special ageing cellars in order to clarify the liquid and improve its taste and aroma. The limited edition 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 Cask 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘀𝗸𝘆 from Sherry wine casks is distilled in a small batch, at a single distillery. It is aged for a minimum of three years in 250 litre American oak casks in which the Sherry wine was matured. Unchill-filtered and undyed, it has fully retained the flavour and colour from the cask.
